We are interested in cooperating in developing new fertilizer products or application systems by including plant-based polymers, that make fertilizers more efficient while reducing the amount of applied fertilizer. We can provide a proofed plant-based polymer that counts with a natural slow-release mechanism, increased water-holding capacity, reduced leaching, and can also be used for dust-free coating.
amynova polymers® GmbH is an R&D and manufacturing company of amylofol®, an innovative starch-based biopolymer. Based on its unique character, amylofol® has a high potential to increase crop protection and fertilization efficiencies in the field. We produce biopolymers from renewable raw materials that can completely replace environmentally harmful chemicals as formulation aids and coating agents.
With amylofol® as a foliar or soil application, it is already feasible to achieve the EU‘s 2030 targets for agriculture today and reduce the use of crop protection products by up to 50% and fertilizers by up to 20%.
Positive side effects of our starch-based biopolymer amylofol® are increased plant growth and improved yield. By naturally degrading in the soil, our biopolymers provide a valuable food base for microorganisms and consequently an improvement in soil structure and fertility.
